The Battlestar Valkyrie was smaller and more maneuverable than the Galactica . It served during the First Cylon War, and was part of the ghost fleet that we saw in   Blood & Chrome. Concept artist Richard Livingston originally designed the  Valkyrie for the episode Home, where it appears briefly in a flashback sequence. His design went through several changes when the model was built by Pierre Drolet, who made it look more like a familiar Battlestar. The Eaglemoss model is just over 10.5 inches (27 cm) long.
