Ship history
The Battlestar Acropolis was one of the twelve battlestars the Colonial Fleet fielded during the Thousand Yahren War, and one of only eight ever referred to by name. She was assigned to the delegation that gathered over the moon of Cimtar for the armistice with the Cylons, and was lost with almost all hands when the Cylon Raiders sprang their ambush during the ceremony.
Acropolis is mentioned in dialogue in the 1978 pilot Saga of a Star World but never appears on screen, so this model is a modeller's interpretation of the class rather than a screen-matched design.
Model history
- 2024 — Master Replicas announces a run of all eight named classic battlestars, sharing the Galactica tooling with a unique nameplate and hull markings for each ship.
- March 2026 — Acropolis ships as a numbered limited edition of 340 pieces. Each base plate carries the ship's name and its edition number.
- Die-cast and ABS, about 10.5 inches (27 cm) long, supplied with a display stand and a numbered certificate.
Known variants
None recorded. The Triton (club exclusive, 350 pieces) and the Acropolis are the only two of the eight to ship in numbered runs below 500.

Our review
Battlestar Galactica (Classic) Acropolis: The Completist's Obligation
A solid duplicationg of every other battlestart TOS ship - honestly, we only get it because we have the rest and want all the original fleet
