Master Replicas has announced the full lineup for Wave 13, with the latest release event scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2023, at 9 PM BST, 1 PM PST and 4 PM EST. The assortment brings together major releases from DC Comics, Space: 1999 and Star Trek, making this one of the broader drops in the company’s recent schedule.

The headline items are a complete DC Chess: Justice League set and a limited number of Space: 1999 Eagle Transporters fitted with the laboratory module. Star Trek collectors also have a substantial selection to consider, including Eaglemoss books, display ships, dedication plaques, shuttles and several larger or harder-to-find vessels.

The DC Chess set is positioned as the visual centerpiece of the wave. It pits the Justice League against a group of villains led by Darkseid, with every piece receiving its own sculpt rather than relying on a repeated figure design. That approach gives the set appeal beyond gameplay, particularly for collectors looking for a display piece that combines comic-book character design with a functional chess format.

Space: 1999 fans are being offered a small number of Eagle Transporters equipped with the laboratory pod. The configuration is especially notable because the Eagle is one of the defining spacecraft designs of the series, while the laboratory module provides a different display option from the more familiar transport configuration. Availability is expected to be a key consideration, as Master Replicas specifically describes the quantity as limited.

Star Trek makes up the largest part of the announcement. The book selection includes the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D Illustrated Handbook, Star Trek: The Original Series – A Celebration, Star Trek Nerd Search: The Next Generation, Star Trek Shipyards: Federation Members and Mr Spock’s Little Book of Mindfulness. The Enterprise-D handbook draws on illustrations associated with the Star Trek Fact Files, while A Celebration focuses on the making of the original series.

The ship and accessory lineup covers several eras of the franchise. Highlights include the U.S.S. Shran, the S.S. Raven, the Klingon battle cruiser from the Kelvin Timeline, the Klingon Ty’Gokor Orbital Station, the U.S.S. Equinox in XL format and the gold U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. The wave also includes a Discovery landing pod, a Vidiian warship, the Archer’s toy ship, a United Earth Starfleet Intrepid, a 22nd-century Ferengi ship, a Borg probe and a Constitution-class refit Enterprise.

Several smaller releases may be particularly useful for collectors filling gaps in existing Eaglemoss displays. Wave 13 includes dedication plaques for the U.S.S. Shenzhou and U.S.S. Discovery, along with an Executive Shuttle, Type-7 Shuttle, Type-15 Shuttle and the Type-10 Shuttle associated with the U.S.S. Defiant. Master Replicas notes that some of these shuttles had not previously been available for individual purchase, creating an opportunity for collectors who missed them through earlier distribution.
